looking back im dissapointed i didnt make the all star game, but making it to this camp is an acomplishment in itself...
at the airport now. its been a long 5 days and the almost grassless goal areas have really taken a toll on my hips and knees and elbows so im ready for a break
wasnt selected to play in the all star game. not really shocked. congrats to stuby who made it. hope he does well!

need to focus and finish strong. I need to not get to down on myself, im playing with some of the best kids in the nation, it takes some some getting used to
just finished our games and are done for the night. kinda upset with my play tonight, having a tough time kicking on this slopy grassless field.
the bad weather is making it very tough for everyone to showcase their talents. its kinda hard to stay mentaly focused with the distration of the terrible field
our early game session was played on rain soaked field with standing water and mud everywhere. fields made the games almost unplayable.
just got word that we are now going to play our games in the morning session instead of the afternoon. still raining....
the coach playing experiences are just as high. one coach even playing on the Cameroom National team
coaches here are very qualified. there coaching experiences range from every professional level in the US and many other countries around the world.

gk training was canceled for this morning. not sure if its because of the rain or not. team training is still on though so i hope the weather clears up.
woke up to rain again. we had sausage and eges for breakfast. getting ready to head out for gk training

starting to get some well needed rest. food has been pretty good so far and everyone seems nice. need to keep working hard tomorrow and things should go well
of what i saw today, the level of play is very high. the speed of play is very fast and takes a little getting used to.

evening session games were cut 10 mins short because of lightning, its been raining pretty hard almost all day. still beats snow though!
so there are 72 kids from every age group, 8 of which are goalkeepers. most of the gks seem pretty good. no real stand outs that i have noticed yet.
team training went good. we focused on transitions today. the rain cleared up and i hope it stays away for the games later.
it rained for pretty much the whole gk training session this morning. Worked on 1 on 1 situations. Feel i did well but there is room for improvement
on my way to the fields for gk training. Excited to finally start to play. Coaches are constantly evaluating everything we do, so you have to stay sharp.
Just woke up. Keepers have to wake up an hour earlier than everyone else for goalie training and then we get to practice with our teams later on.

The director of the camp is trying to run this very close to a US National camp . He has made it clear we are here to be scouted so its not all about fun and games.
